Boiler servicing is a contentious issue within the heating industry. There are split views and opinions as to the procedures, and levels of servicing.
We have two levels of servicing. The 'Defined Scope'
which is the absolute minimum level, which we describe as the 'British Gas' or 'Homeserve' type service.
Or, the 'Full Scope'
service, which is fully intrusive to the boiler, includes draining the boiler, removal of components, cleaning, and replacing worn parts and seals as required
It is highly unlikely your boiler has had a full scope service carried out in it's lifetime (unless we've attended previously).
Therefore please allow 2 hours for the visit.
